Mary Udeh Abazu is a seasoned banker, entrepreneur, and financial services professional with a strong commitment to financial inclusion, enterprise development, and community empowerment. She is the Founder and Managing Director of MayTrust Microfinance Institution, where she leads initiatives that provide individuals and businesses with access to financial opportunities and support sustainable enterprise growth.

Mary began her banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) in 2011, where she built over a decade of valuable professional experience before retiring from the institution in 2024. Today, she combines her extensive banking experience with entrepreneurship and leadership in the microfinance sector.

She is also the Co-Founder of Auto Franchise Elite Lounge, Kaduna, and serves as the Financial Secretary of the Entrepreneurs Book Club (EBC), Kaduna, as well as a Member and Secretary of the Coalition of Micro-lending and Cooperatives Institutions in Nigeria (COMCIN).

Beyond her professional achievements, Mary is passionate about community development and giving back. Through her personal initiatives and work in the financial services sector, she has supported over 20 young graduates and helped small businesses gain access to funding and financial opportunities.

Mary holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Imo State University and is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Information Technology at the same institution.

She is married to Mr. Tochukwu Innocent Abazu, MD/CEO of Auto Franchise Elite Resources and Tocason Auto Investment Company, and is a proud mother of four.
